Romanian scholarships granted to international students
General information
International students may be accepted to study on the basis of scholarships granted by:
Romanian Government;
Bilateral agreements (agreements between universities, governments etc.) or unilaterally;
International organizations.
Non-EU citizens can be enrolled in Romania on their own expenses by paying the tuition fees or by obtaining scholarships offered by the Romanian state.
EU citizens can be enrolled in Romania under the same conditions as Romanian students and they can apply for scholarships following the same criteria as the Romanian students. European students can also apply for a short stay mobility through the Erasmus+ programme.
